Dr. David Calnitsky received the BJS Best Paper Award from the British Journal of Sociology for an article co-authored with one of our former graduate students, Kaitlin Wannamaker: “The Revolution next door.”
Dr. Sean Waite, Dr. Mike Haan and current PhD student Taylor Paul have published: “The queer immigrant effect: Labour market integration of LGB immigrants in Canada”, Migration Studies, Volume 13(2).
PhD student Meaghan Furlano wrote "Workplaces need to do a better job at supporting menstruating workers" in The Conversation.
Mike Haan published with Wanyun Cheng, and current PhD student Lindsay Finlay: “Determinants of the living arrangements of baby boomers: a multinomial analysis of Canadians aged 55–75. Journal of Housing and the Built Environment (2025) 40:309–334.”
